As part of your premium Internxt subscription, you get access to Internxt Antivirus built into Internxt Drive.
With it, you can run system scans or check your files and folders for malware and delete harmful files from your account to keep your device safe and your personal data secure.
The antivirus runs locally on your computer, and no information is shared outside of the app.
Here’s how to scan for malware with Internxt Antivirus
Choose a plan from our pricing page
Download and log into the Windows, Mac, or Linux app
Go to Settings ⚙️ and click Antivirus
To run a full antivirus scan, click “Start scan”
For a specific folder or file, click “Choose”, and select “File” or “Folder” from the dropdown
Once selected, the antivirus will run a scan.
Once the scan is complete, if no malware is detected, a message will tell you “No threats were found”.
If malware is found in your files, it is highly recommended you delete them immediately.
