How to create a bucket with Internxt S3

Learn how to create buckets, upload, manage your buckets, and storage usage with Internxt S3 object storage

Internxt S3 is an enterprise cloud storage solution offering object storage to manage and scale large amounts of data.

Data is stored as buckets that organize and store objects in a highly scalable, durable, and secure way, making it easy to manage large volumes of unstructured data through the S3-compatible API.

To create a bucket and manage your files, log in to https://console.internxt.com/ and enter your details.

Once logged in, you can create a bucket by following the steps below.

Bucket versioning

Versioning lets you keep multiple versions of an object in the same bucket, so you can preserve, retrieve, and restore changes over time. It helps you recover easily from accidental deletions, overwrites, and application failures.

Bucket logging

When logging is enabled, a text file is created that records all access to a bucket and is stored in the bucket you choose.

Object locking

Object Lock must be enabled when the bucket is created, and it requires Versioning to be turned on for the bucket to work.
