The Internxt’s Object Storage Cloud Console allows a root user to create/edit/delete members with different roles that limit the privileges of each user.
How to create a new member
To create a new member, the required steps are:
Go to Settings
Go to the “Members” section
Click on “Create Member” and fill out the form
Decide which role fits the best for this member
Root can perform all actions in the Custom Cloud Console including managing Root access keys as well as account members.
Administrator: can perform all actions in the Cloud Console including managing account members. An administrator cannot view the root access keys.
Full Access: can perform all S3 actions but cannot view members or Root access keys.
Full Access Limited: has the same functionality as Full Access but cannot perform S3 delete actions.
Copy the login information and share it with the new user you want to give access to the Cloud Console
How to deactivate a member
Deactivating a member blocks that member's access to everything its role gives access to while the member remains in that status. To deactivate a member, the required steps are:
1. Go to settings
2. Go to the “Members” section and click on the three dots icon of the member you would like to deactivate
3. Click on "Deactivate Member"
How to delete a member
Deleting a member is permanent and cannot be reversed.
To delete a member, the required steps are:
Go to settings
Go to the “Members” section and click on the three dots icon of the member you would like to delete
Click on Delete Member
