How to create an account for your customer on Acronis

Find out the prerequisites and steps needed to create an account for customers via Acronis

Prerequisites

The following steps allow you to create an account for your customer.

Create a subaccount

  1. Login on the Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud platform

  2. Go to the Object Storage Integration in the Integrations tab.

  3. Click on the Sub-accounts tab.

  4. Click on the Create Sub-account button and fill out the form.

    1. Important: leave the checkboxes empty

  5. Once the form is filled in, click on Create.

    1. Important: Store the Access Key and Secret Key credentials for the next steps. Once the window is closed, the credentials won’t be available anymore.

      6. Click the OK button

Map the sub-account to the Acronis tenant

Once the sub-account is created, it will appear on the Sub-accounts tab, but it still needs to be linked to an Acronis Customer tenant so backups point to the correct storage.

  1. Go to the Customer Mapping tab. (If the account does not appear on customer mapping, refresh the web app to force Acronis to update the list).

  2. Select the created sub-account you want to bind to your Acronis Customer (status: Not mapped).

  3. Click + Map to existing customer tenant.

4. Select the Customer tenant from the dropdown and click Map.

NOTE: Acronis tenants that are NOT mapped to a sub-account will NOT see Internxt’s Object Storage configuration option. These steps are needed to continue.
