We do not apply artificial limits to upload or download speeds. Transfer performance depends on external conditions such as the user’s internet connection, device performance, and network stability. Because these factors vary between users and regions, speeds may differ from one environment to another.


Factors That Affect Transfer Speeds

Your files are encrypted locally before upload and decrypted after download. Because of this post-quantum encryption process, the device’s processing power directly affects transfer speed, particularly when handling large files or many small files.

Internet connection

Available bandwidth and latency have the greatest impact on performance. Faster and lower-latency connections allow quicker uploads and downloads, while slower connections will naturally reduce transfer speed.

Device performance

The hardware used also affects performance. CPU capability, available memory, and storage speed, especially HDD versus SSD or NVMe, can influence how quickly files are processed and transferred.

Network stability and congestion

Packet loss, unstable WiFi connections, or heavy network congestion may slow down transfers or cause interruptions. A stable wired connection typically provides more consistent results than wireless networks.
