How do I reset my password?

Log into your Internxt account and follow the steps below to change your password:

  1. Go to "Settings"

  2. Click on "Security," it may ask you to insert your current password for security reasons

  3. Click on "Change password"

  4. Enter your new password

How to create a backup key

If you forget your password and can’t log in to your account, creating a backup key is the safest way to reset it.

To ensure continued access to your account and prevent the risk of file deletion, it is crucial to download a backup key. A backup key is the sole means to recover access to your account in case of any issues.

Failure to secure your backup key may lead to irreversible loss of your files. Please make sure to download and store your backup key in a secure location.

To get your backup key, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Drive account

  2. Click the settings icon on the top right corner of your screen

  3. In the settings menu, you will see four tabs (Account, Billing, Plans, Security). Click Security.

  4. Enter your password to continue.

  5. Scroll down, locate the option to “Export backup key,” and click the option to download your key.

  6. Your backup key will automatically be downloaded to your device - Store it in a safe place!

How to reset your password

If you cannot log into your account and want to change or reset your password, you will have to delete your account and create a new one. Internxt does not store your password.

The final option is to click on forgot your password on the login page This will erase your account and its data, freeing your email and allowing you to create a brand-new Internxt account.
