New Releases
These are our new releases you can enjoy right now with Internxt, with more to come down the road!
Internxt CLI and WebDAV access
Internxt now supports WebDav access, enabling you to easily manage and transfer files between your local machine and your Internxt account.
The WebDav feature exposes a local-only server in your machine when enabled.
When you download a file, the WebDav local server decrypts your data and sends it to the WebDav client
When you upload a file, the WebDav local server encrypts your data and sends it to the Internxt servers
No plain data is being sent or pulled from the Internxt servers. You can view the whole Internxt CLI + WebDav architecture below.
WebDav clients that support the Internxt CLI are: Windows Explorer, MacOS Finder, CyberDuck for Windows, CyberDuck for MacOS, Transmit, Cadaver.
Here is the list of WebDav clients supported with the Internxt CLI.
Find out more about how to access WebDAV here.
Backups for MacOS Desktop App
For Mac users, we have released folder backups for files to protect them in case of data loss. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, such as hardware failure or accidental deletion, you will be able to access a previous version of your backed-up file.
Drive Desktop v2.0.0
This update includes new onboarding screens, so now you can access your files quickly and easily. You will also enjoy more disk space on your computer by having the freedom to choose which files you want to download.
This new update also includes a virtual drive, a feature that allows you to access and interact with Internxt Drive. It functions like a traditional hard drive or storage device but does not occupy space on your computer.
For the selective sync update, you can control which files you want to sync between Drive and your local device, giving you more flexibility with what files you want to occupy your storage space.
These updates are now available on MacOS and Windows, and we'll release them for Linux soon.
Linux v2.0.0
The new Linux update features an improved version of the Linux app to update new features, address bugs, and ensure a fully functioning version of Internxt for Linux users.
